Important LG Rebate Information

LG offers their own rebate programs, often in addition to and concurrently with other rebate programs such as NECO. These rebate programs can explicitly be combined with rebates from other providers, but multiple LG rebate programs cannot be combined unless specifically marked as such in the terms and conditions for the rebate program (found on the rebate form).

LG manufacturer's rebates are almost always package based, and require the purchase of 3 to 4 kitchen appliances, or 2 to 4 laundry appliances, to qualify. All purchases must be on the same invoice, made in the same transaction.

The LG manufacturer's rebate program accepts applications by postal mail, or online via the internet.

A valid email address is required to claim LG manufacturer's rebates. When your rebate is approved you will be sent an email with instructions on how to claim either a physical prepaid card by mail, or virtual prepaid card received electronically. Your action is required after your rebate is approved to claim your payment.

LG has recently changed their rebate web site and application process. If you have applied for an LG rebate in the past, the current procedure may be different from what you are used to.

LG Rebate Email Information

Important:

Action is required on your part beyond submitting your rebate application for LG manufacturer's rebates. This procedure is new. Read this section carefully.


Once your LG rebate(s) are approved, payment is not automatic. You will receive an email at the address you provided with your application containing instructions on how to receive your payment. You may choose either a virtual prepaid card which you may spend online and receive instantly, or a physical card which you may spend online or in stores and will receive via mail.

Therefore, it is vitally important that you supply a valid personal email address that you have access to and check often with your LG rebate application. You must follow the instructions that appear in this email to receive your payment. This action is time senstive, and must be completed within 60 days of rebate approval. Do not use a business related email address!

This email contains a link to LG's rebate web site where you can claim your payment, and also contains a security code that must be entered to complete your claim.

The email is sent from the address "no-reply@lg-promos.com."

The email has the subject line "Your Visa prepaid card is inside!"

This may appear to be a junk or spam email. It is not. Do not delete or discard this email. Also check your spam folders, since sometimes payment emails are incorrectly marked as "spam" by various email providers.

If you have lost or deleted this email, you may have it re-sent by contacting LG. Do not contact the store regarding payment emails or rebate status. BigCentric is not your rebate provider and cannot resend payment emails or provide payment for this or any mail-in rebate. Click here for contact information.

New: Serial Label Picture Requirement

LG has made a recent change to their rebate claims process which now requries you to upload pictures of the serial number labels from each of your products to complete your claim. It is always recommended that you keep a record of your product serial numbers. However, we now also recommend obtianing pictures of your product serial number labels as soon as possible after taking possession of your products and having them ready before beginning your rebate application.

Important: LG requires a picture of the serial number label from each of your products, not the serial label from the boxes. For help in locating your product serial number labels, click here.

Apply For Your LG Rebate Online: Step-by-Step

You will require the following to complete this rebate:
  • A copy of your sales invoice in electronic form. You may use a .pdf supplied to you by our store, use your scanner to create a digital copy, or take a picture of your paper invoice or even take a picture of your screen with your smart phone.
  • The serial numbers from each eligible appliance. For information on locating your serial numbers, click here.
  • A valid email address that you have access to and check regularly. If there is an issue with your rebate, LG may communicate with you via email. Do not use a fake address, since if there is a problem with your rebate you will not be able to resolve it with LG if you cannot receive emails they may send.
If you do not have these materials, STOP and obtain them. You will not be able to complete this rebate application without the materials above.

If you are missing your product serial numbers because your product has not yet been delivered, submit your rebate anyway. There is an option to tell the rebate processor that your products are still back ordered. In this case, you must still supply your product serial numbers after your product(s) become available. However, your initial rebate application must be made before the deadline.

This instruction set is for submitting your LG rebate application online. Recent change: Each LG rebate program has its own web address. Please use the web address located on your LG rebate form.

Navigate to the web address listed on your rebate form. Each LG rebate program has a unique web address (URL) in the following format:

www.lg-promos.com/####


Where the #### denotes a three or four character code that uniquely identifies your rebate. You must navigate to this URL exactly as it appears on your rebate form. An example is shown below:


If entered correctly, you will arrive at a landing page that matches your rebate form.


Note that the above are examples only. Do not attempt to use the rebate URL shown above. Use the rebate URL found on your rebate form.

This landing page contains information about the rebate program. To file your rebate claim, scroll down and click the button marked "claim now."

The following screen asks if you have recieved all of your appliances.


If you have received all of your appliances or have access to all of your product serial numbers, click "Yes, I have received all of my products," then "continue."


If you have not received all of your appliances or do not have access to your serial numbers, click "No, I am still waiting for my products to arrive." If your products are back ordered and not expected to arrive before the rebate application deadline, it is vitally important that you complete this step before said deadline to recieve an extension from the LG processor. BigCentric is not responsbile in any capacity for rebates that are not submtited by the application deadline, regardless of order completion status.

The next screen asks you to confirm that you have all of the materials required to submit your rebates and that you agree to the rebate processor's terms and conditions.


Check all five checkboxes and click "continue."

You should be presented with the below screen, which asks for purchase details incuding your date of purchase, retailer from which your purchased, and invoice number.

Click the purchase date field and a calendar will appear. Choose your purchase date on the calendar. Your purchase date is located on your invoice, in position (B) as illustrated on the sample invoice above.


Enter your invoice number in the next field. Your invoice number is located on your invoice in the upper right corner, position (A) as illustrated on the sample invoice above.


Enter your place of purchase in the next field. In this field, simply type "Big Centric." A drop down list will appear and our store should be the only option presented once you type a significant portion of the name.

Scroll down. The following steps will involve entering your purchased product model numbers, serial numbers, and purchase prices.


Your purchased model information is entered one model at a time. Start with the first product on your invoice. Start by typing the model number, found in position (E) on your invoice as illustrated on the sample above, or on the sticker located inside your appliance. A drop down list will appear as you type from which you can select the appropriate product. The model number must match exactly with what is shown on your invoice or appliance itself.


Next, enter your purchase price for this product. This is found in position (G) on your invoice as illustrated on the sample above. The amount you enter must match what is printed on your invoice exactly, including decimal places if present.


Next, enter the serial number for this product. The serial number is found on your appliance itself, on a sticker located inside or on the rear. For help in locating your product serial number(s), click here. The serial number you enter must match exactly with what is found on your appliance.


If you have more eligible products on your purchase, click the "add item" button to add another line to your application and continue to enter all of your product(s) model numbers, prices, and serial numbers.




Move on to the next step only after entering all eligible items from your purchase. Do not click the "continue" button until you have entered all eligible products.

Take a moment to double check that you have correctly typed all model numbers, serial numbers, and purchase prices.

Click "continue" only after entering all eligible products from your purchase.

The next step asks for a copy of your purchase invoice and explains the requirements thereof. You will have to upload a copy of your invoice. You may use either a .pdf copy of your invoice as provided by our store, or take a picture of your paper invoice with your smart phone.

You may have to scroll down to find the "choose file" button.


Click the "choose file" button.


Select the file containing either an image or picture of your invoice, or .pdf document containing your invoice provided to you by your store. LG will accept any legible picture of your invoice in a variety of common file formats; Most of our customers simply take a picture of their paper invoice with a smart phone.

After you have selected your file, it should appear in the location illustrated below. Ensure this is the case before clicking "continue."

This step requires you to upload legible pictures of the serial number labels from your products. LG requires this to verify that you have taken possession of your products. Read and follow the provided instructions carefully. Do not submit pictures of the labels from the boxes your products came in. You must provide pictures of the labels from the products themselves.

It is generally easiest to use your smart phone to take pictures of your product serial number labels.


Near the bottom of this page, click the "choose file" button.


Choose the picture(s) from your device's storage that you took of your product's serial number labels. You can select more than one at a time if required. How you accomplish this will vary depending on the type and operating system of your comptuer or device.


The picture(s) you have uploaded should appear in the space indicated by the red arrow in this illustration. Verify that you have uploaded serial label pictures for all of your eligible appliances. Do not skip or omit any items that are physically in your possession.

If you need to add additional pictures you can click the "add files" button indicated by the blue arrow.


Once you have verified that you have uploaded all of the serial label pictures for all of your qualifying appliances, click the "continue" button to proceed to the next step.

The following screen is an optional survey. If you do not wish to complete the survey, simply click "skip survey." This will not affect the approval of your rebate.

The next screen requires you to enter your contact information.


Enter your contact information including name, address, telephone number, and email address. The address field will automatically search for your address as you type and offer to complete the entry for you. If the correct address is found, you may select it from the list rather than type all of it, if you desire.


The name, address, and phone number information must match exactly with either the billing or shipping information printed on your invoice (positions (C) or (D) as illustrated on the example invoice above). Do not use any other name or address, or any combination of different addresses, names, or telephone numbers or your rebate will be rejected without recourse.


The information you enter here must be a residental address as appears on your invoice. Do not enter a PO box address, do not enter a commercial address or business name, and do not enter any other information including email address that belongs to a business or commercial entity. Rebates are for residential customers only and commercial entities do not qualify.


Click "continue" when you are finished.

The last step offers a review of the information you have entered. Take the time to verify that all of the information displayed is correct, including your product models and serial numbers, contact information, address, etc.

Click "submit" when you are finished.

The final screen displays your claim number. Record this number and keep it in a safe place. It is required to check the status of your rebate later, and is also required if you must contact LG regarding your rebate for any reason.

Congratulations! Your rebate application is complete.

Allow up to 16 weeks for processing and payment. If there is a problem with your rebate application, the provider will contact you at the email address you provided.

Apply For Your LG Rebate By Mail: Step-by-Step

Some LG manufacturer's rebate offers can also be claimed by mail. Check your rebate form for details. Not all programs can be claimed by mail and some can only be claimed online.

You will need the following materials to complete your rebate by mail:

  • Your rebate form. If you require a copy of your rebtae form, click here for information.
  • Your product serial numbers. Serial numbers are located on or inside your appliances, or on the boxes they arrived in. Click here for help finding your serial numbers.
  • A paper copy of your invoice. Do not send your original invoice; Make a copy and retain the original for your records. If you require a replacement copy of your invoice, contact the store or your salesperson.
If you do not have these materials, STOP and obtain them. You will not be able to complete this rebate application without the materials above.

The LG rebate form requires you to fill out your contact information, product serial numbers, and requires you to sign and date at the bottom.

For your reference, the sections of an example rebate form are illustrated below:


The annotated sections correspond to the locations on our example invoice diagram.

Your product serial numbers are required to complete the form. Do not mail the form without filling out all of your appliance's serial numbers in the spaces provided. It is normal to have some fields left over that correspond to products that you did not purchase, but ensure that every applicable product you purchased is represented on the form. Missing product serial numbers will result in rejection of your rebate.

Ensure that you have filled out all of the fields on the rebate form including your full contact information as it appears on your invoice, product serial numbers, and do not forget to sign and date at the bottom. Incomplete rebate forms will be rejected by the rebate provider.


The address you fill out must match the address printed on your invoice, either the "Bill To" (C) or "Ship To" (D) addresses. Do not use any other address. Do not use a PO box address. Mismatched, incomplete, or incorrect addresses will result in rejection or non-payment.


Fill out a copy of your actual rebate form, of the program appropriate for your purchase and product. Do not attempt to mail the example form on your screen. The example on your screen is not an exact copy of the appropriate rebate form and may represent and expired program or a different program than is appropriate for your product.

You will mail the following:

  • The completed rebate form. Make a copy and retain it for your records.
  • A copy of your invoice. This is required for rebate approval.
Be sure to enclose your entire invoice with your rebate form. If it is more than one page, enclose a copy of all of the pages. Do not staple any of the pages together.


The mailing address for this rebate program is located on the rebate form, in the area illustrated below:


Use the address printed on your rebate form, not the address displayed on the example on your screen. The address on the example on your screen will be different from the actual rebate mailing address. Every rebate program has its own mailing address.

Enclose all materials and do not staple any pages together. Apply the correct postage and mail to the address printed on your rebate form.

Checking The Status Of Your LG Rebate: Step-by-Step

You may check the status of your LG rebate online easily. However, if you submitted your rebate by mail you will not be able to check the status online. You can only check the status of rebates that were originally submitted online.

You will require the following to check the status of your rebate:

  • Your email address that you provided when you applied for your rebate.
  • Your rebate form containing the web address (URL) for your rebate.
