This 36" wide full depth, full capacity french door refrigerator by KitchenAid features an internal ice maker and water dispenser inside the fridge rather than on the door. You still get convenient access to cold filtered water any time, plus an automatic supply of ice. But the front of this refrigerator remains clean, unbroken, and stylish. Interior dispenser models are also ideal for households with small children, since the chances of breakage and spills are greatly reduced.
Equipped with KitchenAid's ExtenFresh temperature management system, which uses a fan and baffle to direct cold air to the location where it is needed inside either the refrigerator or freezer compartments, independently managing both halves of the fridge for optimum food preservation. The integrated produce preserver absorbs ethylene gas emitted by many fruits and vegetables, causing them to over ripen. By removing ethylene, the Produce Preserver helps extend freshness.
Also equipped with a FreshChill Temperature-Controlled Full-Width Pantry, which lets you properly store foods ranging from meats to produce by allowing manual adjustment of the amount of cold air that enters the drawer.
A slide away split shelf is available to maximize storage space and make organization of your refrigerator easier. This shelf retracts to accommodate tall items without having to remove it and reinstall elsewhere. The SatinGlide interior drawers use space-efficient, under-mounted pans with rollers and glides for satisfyingly smooth operation.
An integrated metal wine rack is included with this model, capable of holding up to four bottles of wine or any other beverage bottle up to 2 liters in size. This rack and properly store wine in the horizontal position, which keeps the corks moist and properly sealed.
