The beauty of this fridge goes beyond just the exterior. KitchenAid's ExtendFresh temperature management system uses sensors in the refrigerator and freezer to maintain optimum temperature to preserve taste and texture. The included produce preserver is a replaceable filter that absorbs excess ethylene gas emitted by ripening fruits and vegetables, preventing over-ripening and extending their storage life.

The FreshChill temperature controlled full with pantry drawer is a versatile space to properly store foods ranging from meats to fruits and produce by allowing manual adjustment to the amount of cold air that enters the drawer.

An automatic ice maker in the freezer ensures a ready supply of ice at all times.

The Max Cool setting, when selected, automatically blasts the fridge and freezer compartments with a rush of cold for times when you are frequently opening the doors, such as loading groceries into the fridge. This ensures that the contents stay cold, and rapidly cools items that have been newly added.
