Combine the fast heating, precision, and response similar to gas cooking with the convenience of electric with this induction double oven range by KitchenAid. Induction cooking directly heats your ferromagnetic cookware rather than wasting time and energy heating through the cooking surface. The result is fast, responsive, and safe stove top cooking. Once a piece of cookware is removed the surface cools to the touch within seconds. Sensors inside the cooking surface detect when cookware is removed from a burner and shut it off automatically.
With double ovens, this model provides you extra cooking flexibility with the ability to cook two dishes at once at different temperatures. The lower oven features KitchenAid's Even-Heat true convection, which produces consistent baking and roasting results every time. The unique bow-tie shaped convection vent is coupled with a true convection system featuring a heating element behind the fan. The included steam rack gives you the option to introduce moisture into the oven as you bake, enhancing results with certain types of cooking.
The EasyConvect conversion system can automatically adjust cooking times and temperatures to their convection equivalents for traditional recipes. Take the guesswork out of your cooking and produce better results!
Inside the oven, a SatinGlide lower rack is captive on ball bearing runners, and can be fully extended while loaded. It easily glides in and out for loading and unloading without hassle.
The glass touch oven controls provide an intuitive and easy to use interface for controlling your oven. They respond to just a light touch of your fingers. Digital burner controls are located on the backboard and make precise temperature adjustments possible.
Stainless steel trim around the cooking surface creates a professional look. For ease of cleaning, a high-temperature self clean option is provided. The grates are even dishwasher safe.

Convection Cooking - Utilizes a built in fan to circulate hot air throughout the oven compartment during baking and roasting. Convection results in more even cooking results even across multiple racks. |
|
Induction Cooking - Utilizes a powerful magnetic field to heat pots and pans directly, with very little wasted energy compared to traditional radiant heat. Cookware reaches temperature and responds to control changes quickly, more like a gas stovetop. The cooking surface cools quickly after the cookware is removed. Note that induction cooking works only with ferromagnetic cookware such as stainless steel, cast iron, or cookware specifically marked as induction ready. |
